COMPLEX STATES – AUGMENTED REALITY

ARTinTRA has developed in collaboration with afca.ag a cutting-edge Augmented Reality application that allows users to upload multiple artworks and install them in all possible places; a gallery space, a garden, a public space. We developed technology that works without the need for a QR Code or any form of equipment apart from a smartphone or tablet. The app supports two-dimensional and three-dimensional artworks as well as video and sound files. Our pilot project is ‘Complex States: Art in the Years of Brexit‘. Download the application for free.

LAST PARADE by Alexander Reichstein @Canary Wharf 2019 Winter Lights Festival, 15-26 January 2019, 5-10pm

ARTinTRA is proud to present “Last Parade”, a site-specific video installation by Russo-Finnish artist Alexander Reichstein curated by Vassiliki Tzanakou for Canary Wharf Winter Lights Festival, 15-26 January 2019, 5-10pm.

Inspired by Plato‘s ‘Allegory of the Cave’, Reichstein creates with a 25m video projection of a wildlife reserve where the shadows of endangered and threatened animals are marching on their last parade.

The work was originally commissioned by the Moscow Polytechnic Museum, and has been created in collaboration with Tatyana Moshkova (animation) and Georgi Baranov (sound).
